The Hunter Valley Cutting Horse Club would like to notify members that the coming show on October long weekend will now be held over 2 days on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of October.
The prize money for the 2015 NCHA Shadow Trailers Australia Victorian Futurity has now been paid out. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact the office on 02 6765 9356.
2016 NCHA Futurity forms are now available to download here. First payments for Futurity are due in Thursday 1st October 2015. All first payments MUST be sent to the office with entry form. Subsequent payments can be made on our website by logging in.
Big River Cutting Club advises that their show/s this weekend 19/20 Sept 2015 at Grafton have been postponed until further notice, due poor weather conditions. The club is looking for a possible October show.
The NCHA has 53 affiliates that conduct shows, practice days and clinics throughout Australia. All levels of competition (including youth classes) are catered for with over 200 shows throughout Australia. These shows occur in Brisbane, Melbourne and at Sydney Royals and culminates with the NCHA National Finals in Tamworth, New South Wales. High Point Awards are highly prized and competitors travel many kilometres to achieve success.
The showcase of Cutting is the NCHA Futurity held every May/June in Tamworth. The Futurity has grown into the richest three year old performance horse event in the Southern Hemisphere. It incorporates the best cutting seen anywhere, the largest country/western rural trade display outside the metropolitan areas, restaurants, bars, big screen, live country music entertainers, and the NCHA Select Cutting Horse Sale which auctions some of the best bred performance horses in Australia.
