Following the cancellation of the 2021 NCHA 4CYTE Futurity, the Board would like to notify entrants of the refund policy that will be applied. We would like to thank entrants for their patience in this matter.
Understandably, the NCHA had already incurred a significant number of costs associated with the set-up of the Futurity. The NCHA Board feels that a fair balance has been reached between returning as much to the competitors as possible while recovering a reasonable amount of Futurity costs incurred.
In line with point 17 of the 2021 NCHA Futurity Conditions of Entry, the following ‘event costs incurred’ will be withheld from applicable entries upon refund:
Open and Non Pro Limited entries will be fully refunded.
All Snafflebit Futurity entries will have $57.90 event costs incurred withheld.
All other event entries will have an event costs incurred amount withheld of $180/entry. The withholding of event costs incurred will be capped at 4 entries/entry member – meaning the most paid will be $720 by those with 4 or more entries. Please note that the 4 entry cap will also be applied by horse owner, where applicable for Pro Trainer entries.
Pinnacle Open & Open Non Pro will have an event costs incurred amount withheld of $55/entry.
In order to have your entry/s refund processed, please email accounts@ncha.com.au with a summary of your entries (inc. event, horse, rider and owner name) and details of your nominated bank account for monies to be refunded by EFT. For those who provide the relevant details via email by 24th November 2021, we aim to have your refund processed by 1st December 2021.
For entrants who have sold their horse which had an existing 2021 Futurity entry, the original entrant and the new owner are to complete the ‘Transfer of Entry & Horse Ownership for Aged Event Form’ which will identify who the entry is to be refunded to.
With regards to stabling and camping booking refunds, please contact Nominate directly via email nominate@nominate.com.au. Please note that a 2.2% cancellation fee deduction will be applied to stabling and camping refunds, as the NCHA has already incurred commission costs for these bookings. 2.2% equates to only 50% of these costs being passed on to bookings, as the NCHA greatly appreciates your support of our major events.
Please contact the office on 02 6765 9356 or email accounts@ncha.com.au if you have any questions regarding the above.
