The vital role that lopers play in our industry cannot be overstated. Their tireless dedication, skill, and positive influence enrich not only the experiences of our members and competitors but also contribute significantly to the overall culture of our sport. Lopers stand as essential support for professional trainers, enhancing the quality and enjoyment of shows for all attendees. In recognition of their invaluable contributions, the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) proudly introduces the Loper of the Year Award. This prestigious accolade aims to honour outstanding lopers across Australia, highlighting their exceptional achievements and unwavering commitment to a positive experience for all.

The selection process for the NCHA Loper of the Year will involve nominations to the board, wherein lopers who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and gone above and beyond to ensure the well-being and enjoyment of our horses and people will be considered. Through this recognition, we aim to shine a spotlight on those whose passion and hard work truly embody the spirit of our sport. Join us in celebrating the remarkable individuals who embody the essence of horsemanship and excellence in service. Let us honour and appreciate the lopers whose efforts propel our industry forward and inspire us all.
