2019 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

 

FULL MEMBERSHIP

An full member shall be any person being the owner of a cutting horse which is either registered or capable of being registered, or who is interested in the activities of the Association who shall have made application and been duly approved by the Board and shall have paid any appropriate entrance fee and subscription and other dues (if any) entitling such person to full privileges of the Association. Every full member shall be entitled to cast one (1) vote.

 

INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP

An International member shall be any person being the owner of a cutting horse which is either registered or capable of being registered, or who is interested in the activities of the Association who shall have made application and been duly approved by the Board and shall have paid any appropriate entrance fee and subscription and other dues (if any) entitling such person to full privileges of the Association. Every International member shall be entitled to cast one (1) vote.

 

CONSTITUENT MEMBERSHIP

  • A constituent member shall be any Corporation, firm, partnership or syndicate which either owns a cutting horse which is either registered or capable of being registered or is, in the opinion of the Board, interested in the activities of the
  • A constituent member shall appoint not more than one (1) delegate who shall be aged eighteen (18) years or older and who shall be recorded by the secretary in the Register of members as delegate for such constituent member; such delegate shall be the only person eligible to represent the constituent member at meetings of the Association and if voting on behalf of such constituent
  • A constituent member shall through its nominated voting delegate have the right to cast one (1) vote
  • A constituent member shall through its nominated rider have the right to compete

 

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP (TWO ADULTS AND ALL YOUTH BELONGING TO THE SAME FAMILY)

A Family membership is available to members of the one family where there are two adult members and any number of youth members. The adult members of this membership are the same as a Full Member as set out above and the Youth members are the same as Youth members as set out below.

 

YOUTH MEMBERSHIP

  • A youth member shall be a person under the age of 18 years being the owner of a cutting horse, either registered or capable of being registered, or who is interested in the activities of the Association, who shall have made application and been duly approved by the Board and shall have paid any appropriate entrance fee and subscription and other dues (if any) entitling such person to full privileges of the
  • A youth member shall not be entitled to be elected to the Board of the Association nor shall a youth member be entitled to a
  • A youth member does not receive a Chatta however can take out a subscription if desired

 

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP (NON COMPETING)

  • An affiliate member shall be any Association (whether incorporated or unincorporated), Club or other body which is, in the opinion of the Board, interested in the activities of the Association and which shall have paid an appropriate entrance fee and subscription and other dues (if any) entitling such person to full privileges of the
  • An Affiliate must have a constitution that is not in conflict with the objects and rules of the Association. An Affiliate member shall appoint not more than one (1) delegate who shall be aged eighteen (18) years or older and who shall be recorded by the secretary in the Register of members as delegate for such affiliate member. Such delegate shall be the only person eligible to represent the affiliate member at meetings of the Association and if voting on behalf of such affiliate
  • An affiliate member shall through its delegate have the right to cast one (1) vote

 

NON PRO STATUS

A Non Pro must hold a full membership or be the nominee of a constituent membership (as per non pro rules) and must have completed and have had approved a Non Pro Application Form. This need only be done once, not yearly. It is however the responsibility of the individual to notify the association if their status does change.

AMATEUR STATUS

To be considered an Amateur you must hold a Non Pro Card and complete an Amateur Application and have it approved by the Association. This need only be done once, not yearly. It is however the responsibility of the individual member to advise the Association if their status changes.

NCHA memberships are valid from January to December of each year. If memberships are renewed at a later date they are not carried over to the following year.
